I read this book for the Leaving Cert and without a doubt, it's probably one of the worst things I've ever read. I have a personal vendetta against this book.
I hate it. I have in-jokes with my friends about Death and Nightingales making fun of it. It's so bad/5. The Nightingale falls in my favourite historical fiction era, ww2.
